This week, CEO Thorsten Amann is taking part in the delegation trip to Finland by the Bavarian Ministry of Economic Affairs, Regional Development and Energy.

Led by Martin Grossmann, Head of Division Foreign Trade Europe and Trade Fairs, and Dr. Georg Münzenrieder (Head of Division Digital Transformation in Health and Care), the delegation will visit the VTT Technical Research Centre of Finland, Finnish companies in the healthcare industry, and the university hospitals in Helsinki and Turku.

Finland is considered one of the European pioneers in digital healthcare. This is favoured, among other things, by the Finnish government, which is open to technological innovations, as well as by a large start-up scene. New technologies, products and services are particularly welcome here for testing and implementation.

For the participating companies and organisations, it is the perfect country to gain exciting new insights into a highly digitised healthcare system, make interesting business contacts and position themselves in a new market.

We would like to take this opportunity to thank the Bavarian State Ministry. The facilitation of this trip under the guidance of Martin Grossmann and Dr Georg Münzenrieder is a strong statement by the Bavarian state government and shows the appreciation for the companies based here. We would also like to thank Dr Joerg Traub, head of the Health Innovation Network at Bayern Innovativ GmbH, for planning the itinerary.

Last but not least, we want to thank Bayern International for the, as always, perfect organisation and support.
